VELP Digester DK6

The DK 6 model is able to house 6 test tubes of 300 ml with the diameter of 42 mm. and uses an aluminium-heating block, which has excellent thermal homogeneity, with a maximum working temperature of 450°C. The block's temperature is controlled by dedicated microprocessor electronics and a probe, which does not require calibration since the electronics automatically calibrate the device every time it is turned on.

The DK 6 is provided with a wide range of control (temperature selections, programmable permanence time, "continuous" working mode availability) and with a display, which allows the setting of desired values and to monitor the digestion progress.

In compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), the data referring to the tests being run can be sent to a printer or PC for storage.

DK 6 has a special tube and fume hood support system which helps cool the samples, make their treatment safer and save space.

In order to neutralize the fumes produced during the digestion, DK6 should be combined with a proper aspiration pump and fumes neutralization system. Velp suggests the use of the DK6 in combination with the JP pump and the SMS scrubber unit.
